After 10 years of making frames and designing in the shadows of brands like Paul Frank, Modern Amusement and many more (including even collaborations with Luis Vuitton) and distribution deals with Barton Perreira and Moscot, Shane Baum started his own brand named Leisure Society that entered the market – after three years of development – in December 2010.
The Leisure Society Collection, embodies precision craftsmanship with high fashion. The frames design and timeless aesthetic were created in the principle of heirloom design, with the intention to create a product that will last forever. Each piece from the collection is produced in a limited run with the capacity of only four frames produced per day.
Features key to the collection include:
100% Pure titanium frames and plated in 12, 18 and 24 karat gold.
Frames are accentuated with high quality white diamonds.
The lenses are Polarized CR-39 with a hydrophobic coating and a proprietary 12 layer anti-reflective UGR12™ coating.
The lenses are 99.9% distortion free, carry 100% UVA/UVB protection, block eye-fatiguing blue light, and are coated with Diamond Cast™, and anti-scratch technology.
